US Nationals Midwestern Teams Up with Premier Baseball
US Nationals Midwestern announces a partnership with Premier Baseball Kansas City. The partnership will give all US Nationals Midwestern players access to Premier Baseball trainers and facilities.
"I'm excited to give our players this opportunity," said Midwestern Regional Director Todd Clausen. "Teaming up with Premier Baseball gives us another tool to continue developing individual skills as well as more opportunities for exposure to college recruiters and MLB scouts."
Premier Baseball is a specialty baseball training facility that offers baseball training and arm care programs. Premier's distinctive approach to training is designed to give the athletes the knowledge, skills, and body awareness to be able to maintain the lasting effects of training.
"I appreciate Todd asking us to help develop these elite-level athletes. They have already reached a high level of baseball, and I want to help them get even better," said Bob Zimmerman, owner and head pitching instructor for Premier Baseball. "Our approach is based on years of experience working with elite athletes, all the way up to current MLB players. Baseball is full of explosive movements, and the more we can refine those movements, the more an athlete can achieve."
In addition to training, Premier also hosts annual events for college recruiters and MLB scouts. The Pro Day scouting event allows 20 select high school players to showcase their skills for scouts representing all 30 Major League Baseball teams. The winter college showcase is attended by recruiters representing schools ranging from NCAA Division I Power 5 programs to NAIA and JUCO schools.
"We know part of our job is introducing players to recruiters and scouts," continued Zimmerman. "We use our relationships to reward the kids who join the program and do the work. I look forward to giving the Midwestern players these same opportunities."
Top MLB draft picks Dakota Hudson, Isaiah Campbell, and Joey Wentz train at Premier Baseball and are part of the Premier family.
Training will be available to US National Midwestern players at either Premier Baseball training facilities or remotely for players outside of the Kansas City area. The training facilities are located at:
